Project Brief
Ambey Mining Corporate office Interior Design details and philosophy: It is a commercial building at Durgapur in West Bengal, a fast-growing economy is visualized as a mass reflecting the traditional resonances and speaking about the ethos of the epoch by use of materials and proportion. Copper muted hue on the facade is an ode to the red soil of the region. The expression is further intertwined with a clean, minimalistic contemporary style where simplicity and profundity of straight lines and scale breakers are visible. Corten steel facade partly veils the glass facade and creates an aesthetic labyrinth that lends a visual drama of light and shadow. The program of the project consists of a set of a rented office in the lower floors and the corporate office of AMPL houses in the fourth, fifth and sixth floor.
